Important: allow proper curing time

Although your floor may feel dry and walkable shortly after installation, the epoxy system continues to cure and develop its full strength over the following days.

First 24 hours

Please keep the floor completely free from:

• Foot traffic
• Vehicles
• Furniture or heavy objects
• Water or liquids
• Cleaning products
• Pets

The surface should remain undisturbed during this initial period.

After 24–48 hours

Light foot traffic may generally be allowed, depending on the product system and environmental conditions. Please continue to avoid:

• Moving heavy objects
• Dragging furniture
• Heavy equipment
• Chemical exposure
• Aggressive cleaning

After 72 hours

Under normal temperature, humidity, and ventilation conditions, the floor may generally begin to receive heavier use. Vehicles should normally remain off the floor for at least 72 hours after installation.

Curing times can vary depending on the epoxy system used and environmental conditions. Always follow the specific instructions provided by our installation team.

Full cure

The epoxy system may continue developing its final mechanical and chemical resistance for approximately 5–7 days. During this period, avoid unnecessary exposure to:

• Oil
• Gasoline
• Harsh chemicals
• Solvents
• Abrasive materials

Special care for garage floors

Once the recommended vehicle-curing period has passed, your garage floor can be used normally. To help protect the finish:

• Avoid turning the steering wheel aggressively while the vehicle is stationary.
• Clean oil, gasoline and other automotive fluids as soon as possible.
• Avoid dragging heavy equipment across the floor.
• Use protective pads under heavy equipment when appropriate.
• Keep sharp objects from directly contacting the surface.

Tires should be clean and free from chemicals or contaminants before parking on the floor.

Routine cleaning

Keeping your epoxy floor clean is simple. For regular cleaning:

• Remove dirt, sand and debris using a soft broom, dust mop or suitable vacuum.
• Mop with clean water and a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
• Remove spills promptly.
• Allow the surface to dry naturally.

What to avoid

• Abrasive cleaners
• Extremely aggressive brushes
• Strong acids or caustic chemicals
• Unapproved solvents
• Steel wool or abrasive pads
• Dragging heavy furniture or equipment

When moving heavy objects, lift them whenever possible or use appropriate protective pads.
